I've spent nearly two decades in design – starting back in the Macromedia Flash and Dreamweaver days, moving through advertising (global campaigns for Mercedes-Benz), co-founding a design practice that got acquired, and landing in product design where I've been for the past 9+ years.

I design across the full product experience, but AI-driven products attract me more. I'm drawn to challenges where you're designing for dozens of different personas and need to make sophisticated tools feel intuitive for all of them.

I love leading design teams and helping people understand why design matters – not just the what or the how, but the why behind decisions. But I also genuinely enjoy the craft of design itself. I like getting my hands dirty, prototyping, iterating on the hard problems – vibe coding has made this infinitely more fun.

Good design should feel invisible, teams work best when organized around their strengths, and the best solutions come from being in the work, not just directing it.

On the side, I have a thing for video production, editing, and animation.

There's something satisfying about making things move and tell stories visually.

Outside work, I'm either on a hiking trail or at the race track. I'm a petrolhead, which explains my obsession with performance, iteration, and well-tuned systems. When I'm not chasing speed, I'm traveling the world with my fiancée, chasing sunsets and local food.

Fair warning: I'm always ending up as the designated driver – turns out I can handle cars, boats, and planes equally well.
